VSTBuzz offers the Granulat (€50 value) cinematic sound library for Native Instruments Kontakt as a free download until December 7th, 2020.
Granulat is a granular sound design library by Rigid Audio. The instrument typically costs €50, but it’s currently available for free at VSTBuzz.
Please note that Granulat requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt. It will only work for fifteen minutes in the free Kontakt Player.
Granulat comes with 300 cinematic instrument patches, including processed orchestral sounds, vocals, noises, rhythmic loops, pads, cinematic textures, and hybrid pianos. The included sounds will work perfectly for movie scores and trailers, but you can also use them in electronic music production, game soundtracks, or sound design.
The instrument is based on Kontakt’s granular engine. It uses tiny fractions of each sound to create new complex sounds that can be manipulated in real-time.
The granular engine is paired with Granulat’s nine built-in step sequencers, which constantly modulate various sound engine parameters. The user can freely customize each sequencer’s shape and use it to automate the master volume, stereo pan, filter cutoff, pitch, grain size, and several other parameters.
Check out the full-size screenshot of Rigid Audio’s Granulat sound library below.
The user can also fine-tune the multi-mode filter (including the filter type), flanger, reverb, and delay modules. Granulat includes 300 sampled instrument patches, but you can create some truly unique and original sounds by customizing the provided patches.
Here’s how Granulat Audio describes Granulat:
GRANULAT is a granular sound design library for Kontakt that lets you play hundreds of small audio grains to create cinematic sound design and rich, moving textures. It comes with a huge selection of 300 cinematic instruments, ranging from hybrid strings, brass swells to acoustic bell-like textures and vocal atmospheres, allowing you to easily create unique modulating soundscapes.
VSTBuzz is running a few more excellent offers this week. The first one is a 96% OFF deal on the Zampler Bundle by Beat Magazine. The second is an 89% OFF discount on the London Symphonic Strings sound library by Aria Sounds.
Granulat is available for free download from the promo page linked below. Click the orange “BUY NOW” button and complete the free checkout process. A valid email address is required to register a free VSTBuzz user account and access your license.
